So confused, just heard some minx is spreading Corona.

There’s no escaping the Coronavirus pandemic, with COVID-19 regulations plastered everywhere, but pair it up on a news broadcast, between U.S. presidential election updates, still counting for Biden and Trump, it’s understandable that mink misheard could sound like a minx and, hey presto, the Corona bubbles popping to get fizzical spring into action.

And that’s the trouble with my brain, sometimes. It goes in search of memories which no longer apply. More than 20 years since the Corona soft drink brand disappeared, it still ignites fond memories for Generation X and baby boomers.

Whilst still taking the news of a new strain of Coronavirus found in Danish mink farms seriously, this secret raspberry lemonade drinker can’t help taking time out, on a Saturday night in lockdown, to think of the bizarre, ridiculous and nostalgic, simply for positive personal entertainment purposes only. After all, a mini minx, mink mix-up seems no stranger or surreal than having to put a mask on before going into a bank to make a withdrawal these days!
