About
Serena is a creative producing graduate from East 15 Acting School, part of the University of Essex. Her experience offers diverse strengths from filmmaking, theatre, ideation, producing studies and a background in business support, office administration, youth work and community volunteering projects.
Serena is currently developing screenplay ideas as a writer and keen to explore production management and development roles in television.
Her writing has seen her achieve several milestones, some of which include:
• Second round listings in the annual KAOS/British Short Screen Competition
• Short film scriptwriter credit for "The Warning" (2005), Shortlisted at 4 film festivals
• Editor’s pick for a short story on the BBC’s Get Writing Community in 2004
Her ambition is to create opportunities for innovative, inclusive content for the stage and screen and inspire a new generation of creative professionals.
